She has been singing since her childhood. At the age of seven she performed as a soloist of the well–known choir “Skrowonki” (“Skylarks” - girls′ choir). The love of singing marked up the professional career of her life. She studied music at the Frederik Chopin Secondary School of Music and at the I.J. Paderewski Academy of Music, which she graduated from in 2005 gaining a Master’s degree in soloist singing. She has mastered her voice taking part in courses conducted by Ryszard Karczykowski, Helena Łazarska and Jadwiga Rappe. As a student of the Academy of Music, she prepared numerous opera and operetta parts, of which the most important ones are:

- Lauretta from the opera Gianni Schicchi by G. Puccini

- Cherub from the opera The Marriage of Figaro by W. A. Mozart

- Fiordiligi from the opera Cosi fan tutte by W. A. Mozart

- Jadwiga from the opera The Haunted Manor by S. Moniuszko

- Zerlina from the opera Don Giovanni by W. A. Mozart

 

Her repertoire includes also oratorio and cantata works:

Since 2007 Garlińska has been a soloist of Musical Theatre in Poznań. She made her debut in the part of Valencienne in the operetta The Merry Widow by F. Lehar. In 2008 she played the part of the main character in the operetta The Gypsy Princess by F. Kalman. She also plays in two other operettas the parts of Franziska Caglieri in Viennese Blood and of the Princess Mi in The Land of Smiles. Currently she’s preparing the part of Saffi from The Gypsy Baron. Her motto were the words of the well-known singer, Lidia Lehman: “In order to achieve the highest perfection the art of singing is too hard and life is too short”.

Karolina Garlińska–Ferenc is mastering her vocal skills together with acting skills under the supervision of an excellent artist and tutor – the director of Musical Theatre in Poznań, Daniel Kustosik. Working on her singing techniques and improving them made it possible for her – a mezzo soprano - to become a spinto soprano, which gives her an opportunity to interpret songs in various ways.
